Hello! I would love to share a little about myself. I live in Colorado with my husband and eight year old son. I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer on October 31, 2018. I have since discovered that I have a mutation on my BRCA 2 gene. I have been lucky to experience a broad array of treatment: a bilateral mastectomy, chemotherapy, radiation, and a laparoscopic salpingo-oophorectomy. I have had expander implants in since December 2018 and look forward to switching them out for permanent (and softer!) implants this coming December.
I am putting my thoughts, experiences, and tips out into cyberspace in the hopes that they can brighten someone else’s life and/or make someone else’s experience with cancer a little easier. Please share this blog with anyone who might benefit.
If you are on your cancer adventure as well, I wish you love, light, laughter, and hope. My best piece of advice is to use this time as best you can. Soak in all the color and beauty that comes with the pain.

Go Bold!
Amy
